Dear Comrades!
It is a great pleasure to report you about the results of 3rd FMS Congress, which took place in Warsaw, 15th – 16th of March, 2008. We devoted those two days not only to vote for new authorities of our association – the Congress adopted many statements important for us and whole left movement in Poland. We were also proud of hosting many guests from our friend organizations from abroad: Maurice Classens from JS in der PvdA (the Netherlands), TomaÅ¡ PetriÄ?ek from MSD (Czech Republic) and many others.
In the first day of our Congress we voted for the new President, Secretary General, International Affairs Secretary and Vice Presidents of FMS. Marceli Zaborek from FMS Kielce was elected the new President of FMS, Iga Wijas (FMS Szczecin) – the new Secretary General. Kasia Juraszek, Paulina Piechna-Więckiewicz, Joanna Wróbel, Sławomir Granatowski, Krzysztof Kukucki and Rafał Roszkiewicz were elected the Vice Presidents of FMS. The Congress decided to lay FMS international policy in the hands of Bartek Wichniarz, elected the FMS International Affairs Secretary.
